Wednesday, 11 October 2017 - Eduard Lucian Lovin and Bogdan Cristian Iana were appointed Vice Presidents of the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM), by the Romanian Parliament Decision no. 79, published in the Romanian Official Journal, Part I, no. 805/11.10.2017.

According to OUG 22/2009, ANCOM’s Vice Presidents are appointed for a six-year mandate.

Since 1997, Bogdan Cristian Iana has been working in the communications sector, for public institutions in charge of the radio frequency spectrum management such as the General Inspectorate for Communication and Information Technology and ANCOM, in the position of Executive Director of the Executive Division Radio Spectrum and Numbering Administration.

Eduard Lucian Lovin is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and has 18 years’ experience in the Romanian electronic communications sector. He worked as director in the Agency for Information Society Services (ASSI) and in the General Inspectorate for Communication and Information Technology. In ANCOM, he was Executive Director of the Executive Division for Regulation.
