The relevant authorities are public institutions or authorities entrusted with the supervision of a specific sector or area of activity, or judicial authorities in the context of actions, activities or proceedings carried out by them in accordance with the legal provisions in force, which, on the basis of the applicable Union law or national law in compliance with Union law, may require the providers of intermediary services, by order, to:

• act against one or more specific items of illegal content;
• provide specific information about one or more specific individual recipients of the service;
• restore the content under applicable Union or national law, where the removed content complies with the intermediary service provider's terms and conditions but has been wrongly considered illegal by that provider and removed.
