How Netograf.ro statistics are generated

ANCOM performs, through Netograf.ro, half-yearly and annual statistics on the quality of the fixed and mobile Internet access service in Romania, including the average data download speeds as experienced by each user who performed the measurements through the application, separated by operator.

The statistics were generated by Netograf.ro based on over 273,000 tests conducted by the users in 2017, which were validated and used in the statistics generation process. Of these, over 138,000 tests were conducted during the second half of the year. Netograf.ro tests the quality of the connection between the end-user terminal equipment and a test server connected to the public national internet interexchange nodes.

How to use Netograf.ro

Netograf.ro is easy to use and provides real-time and accurate results. All you have to do is select your offer type and choose the access modality - wireless or wired, for fixed internet, and indoor or outdoor for mobile internet. A test takes approximately 30 seconds, and the results obtained may be analysed and compared in the context of the statistics published on a half-yearly and annual basis.

About Netograf.ro
