Service installation and activation

Service installation and activation

The installation term for the fixed telephone set or the activation term of the fixed/mobile telephone service must be specified in your contract. Usually, the contract states a maximum term within which the provider is to install/activate your service. Your provider may install/activate the services sooner, but you should take into account the term provided in your contract, since only in case of exceeding this term you can submit a complaint or request penalties.

Where the provider does not observe the contract terms, send it a complaint by the means indicated in the Complaint Handling Procedure, a document you received upon the contract conclusion, available on the respective provider’s website.

About what, how and where you can complain

If your provider does not observe the contractual obligation regarding the service provision term, you may address the National Authority for Consumers Protection. In this situation, ANCOM can provide counselling and mediation, but cannot sanction the provider.
ANCOM may take steps if your contract does not provide the service provision term. Find out how you can Complain to ANCOM!
